New Year, Same you
Resolutions and goals are right in my wheelhouse. I like resets and shifts, new ambitions and lofty targets. I like knowing change is possible, that anything is possible. A new year brings that fresh slate that feels irresistibly positive and inspiring.

But it’s what I can do for them, short of adopting them all—which I cannot do. I will say this a second time, more for me than for anyone else: I CANNOT ADOPT ALL THE CATS. Yet I find this small bit of service to be so much more rewarding than you might expect.
My TV Debut
Being unemployed in New York City is an interesting thing. You'll recall that I am unemployed by choice, having quit my corporate job in order to get my gemology certification in preparation to transition my career to something in the gemology realm. But back to the point, which is that I am unemployed. And as such, I have some time on my hands.
My Morning with DOROT
I should probably be doing more to prepare for this blizzard than listen to the 80’s Hits radio station and fold laundry. But clean underwear should be near the top of anyone’s snowed-in list. And I stand by that.
