Train Nostalgia
I saw Train earlier this month, one of those really great concerts you end up LOVING. What surprised me was how much hearing those songs brought me back. Chalk one more up for nostalgia.
Here we go Again
We’re in October now, but back in August I did get to see my beloved Counting Crows for the eighth time. And it just might have been my favorite. Although I probably say that for all of them, this one did have a little extra something.
Spinning the Lyrics
I had the chance to see my favorite band perform last weekend, and it was really such a good concert. I’ve always loved the Counting Crows’ lyrics, and of course their melodies, too.
Somewhere in middle America
I blame (or thank?) the cute boy with a guitar who I heard play ‘Omaha’ when I was 17 for the fact that I’ve been stuck on the Counting Crows ever since. I saw them in concert for the sixth time over the weekend, and it’s probably a very small percentage of people who have seen the same artist/band six different times. And if it’s up to me, this won’t be the last.
