The Best Thing to Cross off your List

This is not the first time I’ve posted a picture like this, but every time it happens it feels so glorious that I just have to share. Anytime I’m home for a 3-day weekend, I like to put writing on my to-do list with a check box for each day. Honestly, 3-day weekends are the best thing that can possibly happen for my manuscript progress, and after two of them within the past month, I have reached another milestone. I’m halfway done with the next book! Still a lot of work to do, obviously, not to mention all the editing that will come after, but for now, I’m happy to have had so much writing time lately. Here’s to more long weekends in the future! And more check boxes.

Tali Nay

Tali Nay always wanted to be a fiction writer and was thus surprised when "real life" is what came out when she actually sat down to write something substantial. Tali studied writing in college, and then—entirely by accident—found herself working in business. She went on to earn an MBA, although recently left Corporate America in order to pursue her dream of becoming a gemologist. After a stint in New York City earning her diploma at the GIA, Tali now works in the gemology industry and lives in San Diego, California.
